IFIC Bank PLC and Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited (BGDCL) have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation between the two organizations. The agreement was signed recently, Monday, 11 May 2026, at a ceremony held at the BGDCL boardroom in Cumilla, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
On behalf of IFIC Bank PLC, the agreement was signed by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business and Head of Operations, while Mr. Md. Enamul Karim Chowdhury, Company Secretary of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of BGDCL. Engr. Md. Emam Uddin Sheikh, Managing Director of BGDCL was also present.
Mr. Md. Farid Al Mahmud, Regional Head of Cumilla Region, IFIC Bank PLC, and Mr. Shakhawat Hossain, Manager, Institutional Sales, IFIC Bank PLC, attended the ceremony. From Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited, Engr. Mortuza Rahman Khan, General Manager; and Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman, General Manager, Current Charge, also attended, along with other senior officials from both organizations.
Under this agreement, customers of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited in the Cumilla region will be able to pay their bills through IFIC Bank from anywhere in the country.
