As a reflection of IFIC Bank PLC’s continued commitment and capability in card data security management, the bank has achieved the internationally recognized Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification for the fourth consecutive year.
The certification handover ceremony was held on today Thursday, 05 February 2026, at IFIC Tower, Dhaka. On the occasion, the Managing Director of IFIC Bank PLC, Mr. Syed Mansur Mustafa, formally received the PCI DSS certification from Dr. Aftab Rizvi, CEO of Risk Associates, the certification authority, and Mr. Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, CEO of SSL Wireless Limited.
Present at the event on behalf of IFIC Bank were the Deputy Managing Directors, senior management team members, and other officials, along with senior officials from Risk Associates and SSL Wireless Limited.
The PCI DSS certification plays a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted card operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and strengthening customer confidence in digital payment services. By adhering to this international standard, IFIC Bank PLC continues to enhance its card data security framework, making it more robust, modern, and future-ready, thereby ensuring greater protection of customers’ sensitive information and reinforcing trust in digital and card-based banking services.
