As part of “Youth Festival 2025,” and following the directives of Bangladesh Bank to raise awareness among the country’s young generation about banking operations, savings habits, and financial management, Today, IFIC Bank PLC organized a special financial literacy program in Khulna on 24 November 2025. The event, held in collaboration with Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), was attended by more than a hundred university students.
The program was presided over by Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and CBB & CCO of IFIC Bank PLC. The chief guest was Mr. Md. Rukonuzzaman, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Khulna Office. Special guests included KUET’s Director of Student Welfare, Professor Dr. B. M. Ikramul Haque, and University Registrar Engineer Md. Anichur Rahman Bhuiyan.
As the resource person, Ms. Fariha Haider, Head of Centralized Retail Marketing of IFIC Bank, delivered a guiding presentation to the students on topics such as professional skill development, personal financial management, digital banking, and future technological challenges.
It is worth noting that IFIC Bank continues to conduct financial literacy programs throughout the year at schools, colleges, higher education institutions, and various locations across the country.
