IFIC Bank contributes Tk 25 Lac for making Liberation War docu-fiction
Chairman of IFIC Bank Mr. Salman F Rahman is seen handing over a chaque of Tk 25.00 Lac to GOC of 66 Infantry Division & Area Commander of Rangpur Cantonment Major General Md. Salahuddin Miaji, psc at a ceremony at Rangpur Cantonment. Managing Director and CEO of IFIC Bank Mr. Shah A Sarwar was also present at the ceremony on Tuesday.
Dhaka, February 27, 2013: IFIC Bank authorities contributed Tk 25.00 Lac to Rangpur Cantonment authorities for making a docu-fiction titled “Jago Baahe” and a publication on the role of grater Rangpur & Dinajpur in Liberation War in 1971.

Chairman of IFIC Bank Mr. Salman F Rahman handed over the chaque to GOC of 66 Infantry Division & Area Commander of Rangpur Cantonment Major General Md. Salahuddin Miaji, psc while Managing Director & CEO of IFIC Bank Mr. Shah A Sarwar was present at the handing over ceremony on Tuesday.

In their address, speakers stressed the need for disseminating the true history of liberation war to the new generation in order to build a successful nation.

It may be mentioned that the IFIC Bank spent significant amount in health, literature, education sectors. IFIC Bank recently contributed Tk 30.00 Lac to Dhaka University for students' stipends, Tk 35.00 Lac for the treatment of AIDS patients in Chittagong and Tk 10.00 Lac to the winners of IFIC Bank Literary Award.
