Dhaka, April 1, 2012: IFIC Bank Limited handed over an ambulance to humanitarian organisation Anjuman Mufidul Islam (AMI) on Sunday as part of its ongoing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities.
AMI Office bearers, including former Chairman of Transport and Burial Committee Mr. Abdur Rashid Rashed, Trustee and Vice President Mr. Mohammad Azim Baksh, Executive Director Kazi Abul Kashem received the ambulance from Member of the Board of Directors of IFIC Bank Mr. Syed Anisul Haq, Managing Director Mr. Mohammad Abdullah and Deputy Managing Director (Business) Mr. Mati-ul Hasan.
Top officials of both sides were also present at the handing over ceremony held at Anjuman's Head Office at Kakrail.
Thanking IFIC Bank for donating the ambulance, AMI officials said the organization is being run through generous donations from people of all walks of like. Apart from rich people and organizations, interestingly baggers also donate money for running the activities of the charity organization, they informed.
Mr. Syed Anisul Haq said IFIC Bank is playing an important role for the socio-economic development of the nation. "The Bank will continue its efforts for greater benefits of the nation" he said.
Mr. Mohammad Abdullah said as a socially responsible organization, the IFIC Bank will continue its support for Anjuman Mufidul Islam for the sustainability of its programs.
